Damon™ System self-ligating braces eliminate elastic or metal ties that are used with traditional braces.  This results in greater comfort without tightening during treatment.  Traditional braces with elastics that are tied in create more force and friction requiring more frequent adjustments.  Damon™ Braces use a “sliding door mechanism” to hold the wire which allows teeth more freedom of movement.
